The BANDIT is even more stable in the air, no matter what the wind is doing. From freeride to kite foiling, Big Air or strapless, this kite can do it all and do it amazingly well. Its fantastic control and support allow you to ride at your highest level at any time, as it always translates gusts into forward pull.

For this 16th edition, the R&D team worked intensively on making the entire profile amazingly sleek and implemented original staggered seams on both the leading and the trailing edge. The seam’s tension line is thus broken, which means the entire profile of the canopy is leveled when the kite is fully powered. We kept the fabric’s orientation towards tension as well.

On the back of the profile, we have reduced the overtensions thanks to the staggered seams. The two vertical panels have been changed to one, and on sizes 9m² and smaller we developed a new TECHNOFORCE 66 panel. It is stronger and more resistant on elongation to offer a better control of the profile on smaller sizes for higher winds.

On sizes of 10m² and above, we have kept the TECHNOFORCE 52 to guarantee lightness, as well as the two layers of TECHNOFORCE 52 canopy with staggered seams on the trailing edge.

This all leads to more efficiency. Overall, this perfectly even canopy profile brings a greater sense of stability without feeling disturbances or the bar moving and leads to incredible performances in the high end.

The struts’ reinforcements are now super sleek as well thanks to the Kevlar strip on the top. This improves the kite’s steering and maneuverability, reduces the aerodynamic disturbances, and decreases the overall weight of the kite once wet.

Our original 5 points connections bridle and two pulleys help keep the arc stable even in overpowered conditions.

The new, CNC-shaped, anodized aluminum low friction “pulleys” are super lightweight and increase the kite’s reactivity. They also raise the bridle’s resistance to abrasion and its overall durability.

The F-one Bandit 2023 is perhaps one of the most legendary kites on the market. The Bandit 2023 is already the 16th version that F-one releases of the Bandit. The Bandit has changed over the years, but you can still immediately recognize the Bandit 2023 by the legendary, and ever very first, Delta C-Shape. The 16th version has received some aerodynamic updates and in some sizes a new material that makes the Bandit 2023 fly better again.

For the 16th edition of the F-one Bandit, the F-one development team has focused on making the F-one Bandit 2023 as smooth and aerodynamic as possible. The advantage of a super smooth, gradual profile of the Bandit is that the kite becomes more stable and steers better. Towards the LE this can be seen in the staggered panel seams of the canopy and the integrated strut bumpers.

All this ensures a super smooth profile where the wind first comes into contact with the F-one Bandit 2023. The updates can be seen even more clearly in the trailing edge. Here too you see the staggered panel seams and in the small sizes (9m and smaller) a new 66g polyester double ripstop. These adjustments ensure a more stable trailing edge and therefore a more stable and smoother steering of the kite.

To make steering the F-one Bandit 2023 even smoother, the Bandit XVI has new CNC-ed pulleys made of anodized aluminum. This glides super smooth over the bridle line and ensures that the Bandit always has the perfect angle to the wind. Just like last year, we see the original 5-point bridle connection in combination with two pulleys in the F-one Bandit 2023. These pulleys also provide the extremely good depower properties of the F-one Bandit.

The bar pressure is very light, minimizing arm fatigue and permitting nuanced steering control from the slightest touch. Yet the kite still provides good positional feedback. The leading edge’s slim design allows the kite to twist, and the wingtip shape enhances the responsive nature of the BANDIT-S4, making it ideal for both onshore and side-shore riding conditions.

Its pivotal turn capability enables rapid redirection, allowing riders to precisely follow their surfing lines without getting pulled off an edge or out of position.
